An independent browser game
Minigame Marathon is an independently created reaction game by Niclas Tursky. The goal is simple: make a game that is easy to understand in seconds, works equally well with a mouse or a touchscreen, and keeps changing before any one challenge becomes repetitive.
The minigames, scoring system, difficulty curve, interface and original vector graphics were built specifically for this website. There is no download and no account is required for solo play.
How it is designed
Each challenge tests a different skill: reaction time, rhythm, short-term memory, visual attention, timing or precise movement. A round begins slowly enough to learn the controls, then becomes less forgiving as the score rises. This creates a fair first attempt while still giving experienced players a reason to improve.
Accessibility on different devices is part of the design. Touch targets are sized for phones, drag controls also support a mouse, and suitable games include keyboard controls. Sound can be muted at any time and is not required to understand an objective.
Scores and fair play
A submitted leaderboard entry contains only the player name entered after a run and the achieved score. The weekly ranking gives new players a recurring chance to compete, while the Hall of Fame preserves the strongest results. Suspicious or inappropriate entries may be removed to keep the board useful for everyone.
